There are tons of guides out there introducing adwords, sorry them kind of become a blur to me, it’s worth viewing at least one over the shoulder tutorial video package, to ge a feel for the flow, you can probably find something at clickbank in the $20 range, though googles online educational material is extensive and will teach you all of the mechanics.
If you were investing in a single package, get something that encompasses a broader range including adwords, perhaps a general affiliate marketing package, or looking a step further, a CPA marketing package, which will often touch on PPC as one if several promotion techniques. The CPA packages tend to be pricey though, because that that way the big money hunters go.
Perry Marshal has a ton of training material out there, his definitive Adwords guide should be OK, he has a 3 level pricing arrangement starting at $49, which is something new for this sort of product, (beats back-selling the advanced version) might pay off if you need an adwords voucher.

I found Affiliate Blueprint to be one of the most practical nuts and bolts guides with 4 1/2 hours of material showing in detail his exact day to day PPC routine, he made extensive use of spreadsheets for tracking, it was produced in 2008, if made today it would probably just add emphasis to google’s quality rating system, unfortunately has been recently pulled off the market to clear the way for the more costly Affiliate Blueprint II which is really a complimentary product, relying entirely on SEO traffic instead of PPC. While version 1 sold last for $97, version 2 is more like $397. Perhaps you can find someone with version 1.

I have never seen ANY ” . . . have I got a business opportunity for you! . . . .work out to be legitimate opportunities . . . most are scams. Trust me when I tell you that anyone who is trying to *recruit* you is not giving you a very good opportunity.
I majored in business when I was younger, and have worked different legitimate business’s my self over the years. When you discover a legitimate opportunity you are not jumping leaps and bounds (or recruiting people via the internet) because they would be competition! Companies are supposed to be about selling a product not constantly enrolling new associates for a fee.
Notice how I was the only responder who didn’t try to send you to a site? It’s saddens me deeply to see how many people are trying to make money off scamming people these days.
I have made good money in the past by doing real estate (not a good time for that now . . . ) from home mostly, and operating childcare in my home. My brother builds websites from home and makes a few bucks. My husband will make logos from home and make extra cash. I also had a friend that developed a marketing company by buying internet ad space and selling it to companies by the click . . . it was quite complicated and I’m not sure what he did exactly, but he developed the business himself and make gobs of money . . .
Anyways PLEASE do yourself a big favor and steer far away from anyone who says, “have I got a business opportunity for YOU . . . live the life of your dreams . . . make thousands of dollars for only a few hours of your time . . . wouldn’t you love to be your own boss, own a huge mansion and retire in 2 years?”

The best advise if your new to trying to make money from the Internet is start slow, start very slooooow.
There are 10 times more scams out there just waiting for their next victim to get them to bite then there are legitimate opportunities.
Sure, they all sound really good at first and they ALL play off your emotions on how “EASY” it is to make money, that is until they have your money and your wondering “What Happened?”
Even the BEST Online Opportunity “ALWAYS” needs one thing, and without it, no matter how good it is, you will make very little if anything for all your time and effort.
You need Quality Targeted Traffic To Whatever it is you are selling/promoting and you NEED to get on the good side of the Major Search Engines.(unless of course you have an unlimited financial resources for a PPC campaign to get it up and running)
If you are Brand Spankin New and never made any “Real” money off the Internet one suggestion would be to start your own Blog FIRST.

For one you can have it up and running in less then an hour and it won’t cost you a dime.
Everybody has something they are passionate about. Give it some serious thought before you start and make sure it’s a subject you are knowledgeable/passionate about.
How can you turn it into Traffic/$$$?
Take Blogger.com for instance. It is owned by Google and it’s extremely easy to add Google Adwords into your Blog. By default they will display relevant “paying”ads on your Blogs subject where you get a percentage of any clicks. They also just happen to run the Biggest Search Engine and IMO they also favor the content on Blogger so they will send their spiders to your site faster and more often to get your pages indexed in their Search Engine which will automatically start bringing you you the Targeted Traffic you NEED to Succeed.
You will also want to get your site indexed with Yahoo/msn asap but it might take a little longer for them to index it, but it’s worth the wait once they do.
Once you get your Blog up and running (and keep adding new content/posts) you can then start doing specific posts around a certain product/opportunity and integrate it into your writing using other promotions that pay much higher on a per sale fee for their leads then do the typical PPC ads do.
You can find numerous advertisers on sites such as commission junction or click bank for you to choose from.
One such example is an article I recently just did on a Scam Blog about Identity Theft Protection where I integrated some of the BEST Identity Theft Prevention Services into an article at

Typically, sales are tracked by the provider of the affiliate program through a special tracking code embedded in the links of affiliates. Some programs even offer up to 30-day cookies such as Amazon affiliate program so the sale can be credited to the affiliate even though the sale was not immediate when the visitor clicked on the link. Without the embedded code, affiliate program managers will not be able to track the sale, and will not be credited to the affiliate.
I think website is a must-have before joinining affiliates. Plus, you won’t even be approved because you will need to give your website URL to apply. They need to know that your website fits their product well

The type of plug in really depends on what is is specifically used for. The one plug in that i can not seem to do with out is the DeansFCKEditor for wordpress.
This one plug in updates your current wysiwyg editor to a more advanced editor. One of which you can add source code directly into the posting. This is a great solution as it means i can add pop ups,peel away ads, video and more directly in to that posting.
It also means it will only happen on that posting and no other, this is why this is my have to have plug in. originally designed as a upgrade to the wysiwyg editor but has the function of multiply plug ins.

I do not have a website but I need to make money. Promoting other’s products seems like a good idea, however I have no idea how to get started. I have bought several scams and they did not work or I simply did not understand them.
What are good products to advertise for as an affiliate marketer?
The trouble with rebate affiliate marketing is that it is high-risk.
First of all, many of the programs I’ve seen tell you to do it for merchants with Clickbank. The thing they don’t mention is that rebates are explicitly against Clickbank’s policies. When they catch you at it you lose all your pending earnings.
Other companies may or may not allow it, but you generally have to get special permission.
The other risk is that you may pay out a rebate and then have the customer get a refund, and your affiliate commission goes away. You have to do some very careful tracking and only give rebates after the refund period. Pretty tough when people are likely to want immediate gratification.
Medical transcription can be a very good job, but you do have to pay for your own training. I did it for three years. The Andrews School, M-Tec and Career Step are generally considered to be the top 3 online schools.
As for online jobs, yes, they do exist but there’s a lot of competition. As with any other job you need to consider your skills. You can do customer service if you have a very, very quiet place to work. Most such companies allow no background noise at all. Data entry is a popular option, but there are only a few legit companies, so the jobs are hard to get.
You may also want to consider general transcription. If you have some basic transcription skills already, Tigerfish has an online test you can take, then you just wait for a job to open up if you do well enough on it.
